Midnight Echoes Bat Earrings

It is widely believed that bats are blind. This is false - bats actually have a very keen sense of sight. However, they have evolved a sophisticated method of using sound that allows them to navigate through even the darkest of nights. This is called echolocation - the inspiration behind this pair of earrings.

They emit high frequency sound pulses from their noses and mouths and then listen to the echo. The echo then allows the bat to "paint a picture," so to speak, of what is in front of them and how far away it is. They can detect the size, shape and even the texture of the object in front of them. Their echolocation is so refined that they can even detect an object the width of a human hair!
