These little aliens color shift depending on the light. The teal alien shifts to a blue tone and the blue alien shifts to purple. The green is metallic and shimmers golden.
As a little girl, I was always obsessed with the idea that we are not alone in the universe. I would go to the local library and check out every book I could find that was somehow related to the "little green men" that may be hiding somewhere out in space.
These earrings are my tribute to them. I remember watching the 1997 movie Contact where a young girl asks her father if she believes there are other beings somewhere out there to which he replied, "I don't know...but it seems like an awful waste of space." That really hit me as a 9-year-old girl. I don't know if we will ever know the answer to that eternal question, but I like to think that in our vast universe, we can't be the only ones out there.
No matter what you believe, I hope you keep your eyes to the skies. You never know what you might find.
